Description:

• A sturdy and versatile probe, which easily reaches those hard-to-reach locations under the dash and in the engine compartment.

• To locate faults in live DC circuits.

• It clearly shows whether a particular circuit is grounded, hot or high impedance (i.e, open)

• The test lights also show that the cigarette lighter is active even when not probing circuit.

• As an alternative power source, the third model allows for connection to battery through the use of battery clips at the end of the coil cord.

Instruction:

1. Connect the RED clip to the "+" side of the battery circuit and the BLACK clip to the "-" side of the battery circuit.
   

2. Insert the probe cable end's cigarette lighter plug into the vehicle cigarette lighter socket.

3. The RED & GREEN LEDs will all light up (unless the Test Light is being used on a 6 volts system)
   
   

4. If the polarity is correct (and the voltage is above 8 volts), all LEDs will light.
   

5. Touching the probe tip to the "-" (ground) will cause the GREEN LEDs to brighten and the RED LEDs to go out.
   

6. Touching the probe tip to the "+" (6, 12, 24 volts) will cause the RED LEDs to brighten and the GREEN LEDs to go out.
